The 2018 Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF), Small Projects Stream – Call for Proposals has now launched.
Canadians with disabilities face challenges every day which prevent them from participating fully in their communities and the economy. Through programs such as the EAF, the Government of Canada is committed to promoting inclusion and breaking down barriers for Canadians with disabilities.
The EAF provides funding for eligible capital projects that increase accessibility for people with disabilities in Canadian communities and workplaces, creating more opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in community activities, programs and services, or to access employment opportunities.
This year the maximum amount per project has been increased to $100,000. Not-for-profit organizations, for-profit organizations (up to 99 employees), and small municipalities (population under 125,000) are eligible to apply.

I always want to hear about the projects taking place in the riding, so please do let staff members at my office know if you are planning to apply.
